Located in the town of Varca, the beach takes name from the town itself. This beach is just 2 km away from the south of Benaulim Beach and considered to be among the longest beaches of south Goa dotted with volcanic rocks. The activities that are taken up by tourists at this place include swimming, sunbathing, cruising and spotting dolphins.

Being present on this beach also provides an opportunity to visit to all nearby beaches, namely Benaulim Beach, Fatrade Beach, Colva Beach, Mobor Beach and Cavelossim Beach. The Varca beach is also known for Our Lady of Gloria church which is considered to be the oldest building of this town. There is Madgaon (also called as Margao) city popular for being the second largest city of Goa by population. Earlier a fishing village, it is known for Portuguese styled buildings.

To reach to this beautiful sleepy beach town, catch either flights or trains or buses. The nearest airport to Varca is the Dabolim Airport which is located at a distance of around 32 km from the destination. Also, Trains could be taken from Margao Railway Station, located approximately 14 km away from Varca.
