Chapora
is a beacis a beach
that is around 10
kms. from Mapusa,
North Goa.One of the
most interesting beaches
of Goa. The most basic
attraction is Chapora
Fort and the houses
built in dense groves
of coconut palms.

to this place is Vagator
Beach and Anjuna Beach.
The best time to visit
this place is from
November To March.
Chapora Beach
is a very good place
for those who have
decided for a long-term
stay in Goa. The number
of hotels in the areas
near to the beach
is really very few
but to supplement
this there are rented
houses that are scattered
among the coconunt
plantations.

This is really a fascinating part
of the Goan coastline. The village
is sitauted on the estuary of
the Chapora River and is overshadowed
by a rocky hill where one can
find a Portuguese fort too.

Mapusa and Calangute
Beach to Chapora
beach. More over there
are also Direct buses from Panjim.

taxis are also available.

side of the main street in Chapora.
